The flower that withered away

What was it that made you wither
Black and white your color begins to fade as you disappear
We talked all day before you said your last word
Tears formed in my eyes
The once beautiful person I loved became nothing but a beep on a machine

I walked outside one day and saw a flower that reminded me of you
I hope in our next life we can see this flower together
It bloomed and matched your personality
It didn't feel happy in the house
It didn't want too much love
I hope this flower that reminds me of you
don't break my heart
like you did when you took your last breath
